Remains To Be Seen NP, 7/18/12, 9:47 AM, 8C, 6730x6338 (0+1411), 112%, Custom, 1/15 s, R92.8, G84.9, B103.8 - This is a metal collage, 24"x24" mounted on 5/8" plywood. It is tacked on using a variety of brads and tacks, chosen for their color and placement. I use all kinds of old metal, rusted, corroded, copper, aluminum, old coffee cans, old candy and cookie tins. It makes for an interesting piece. I also do sculpture using these kinds of material, reference the Rooster "Edward" that I just recently posted.
A Colorado native and long-time Fort Collins resident, Bob's painting style reflects his Western Heritage yet is uniquely his own. He strives for an image that is unusual and that brings pleasure in the doing as well as in the viewing. His work is often stylized, often whimsical, always colorful and strong in design and composition. Animals, landscapes, people, history and mythology provide him a wealth of subject matter.
