Artist's Description
This is an older piece but one of my favorites. I have taken images from cave paintings and stylized them in my style and placed the horses into an imagined landscape of the time. Who knows what it was like? These horses are from the Chauvet Cave found in the Ardeche Valley in France. The cave is dated to thirty two thousand years ago. That is amazing in itself.
