Artist's Description
This coyote painting was fun to do in that I have abstracted the colors of the animal and the background and created an illusion that the animal is moving from daylight into night. The line work of the coyote and the mountains were done with a squeeze bottle. The resulting line has a somewhat primitive quality and fluidity about it that is appealing. Great ideas here (day/night) and thanks for the squeeze bottle idea. I paint with the edge of a credit card (not always) to keep from being too "tight" on the drawing aspects. I really like hearing techniques from other artists! F/L This is a beauty!
