This is my preferred way to paint. For the drawing, I either use an acrylic ink stopper or in this case, I used a squeeze bottle with the tip cut off for the flow that I wanted. I loaded the bottle with fluid black acrylic paint and then did the drawing of the horse with that. Holding it is like working with a big fat pencil. I just squeeze the paint or ink out and draw as if I was actually drawing with a pen or pencil. the flow of the paint or ink is sort of erratic which adds to the organic feel. I let it dry well and then start painting. This one seemed to be calling for the title "Horse Power".
