Artist's Description

I did a pretty detailed line drawing of this deer first and then decided to make into a painting, I don't always work that way but am starting to. Enjoyed this process for me. Others probably work that way, I don't know. This allowed me to really study out the shapes and values in the drawing first. My usual way of painting is just paint and decide as I go.
