Caper seemed like a nice, fun word for the title of this little horse. I did a pencil sketch first, enlarged the sketch and placed on already painted background board. I like to work this way often in that I paint my substrate first and work the subject over the top. Then I paint from imagination the subject and the color to compliment the background.
