This is an acrylic painting and styled after an early Roman horse. I have used a lot of metallics in this painting, mixing with color and gradating the color and moving from one color to another in a particular area, for example going from red to sky blue at the same time mixing in a gold or copper or bronze metallic. Even the white has some metallic mixed in.
