Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I painted this cat for Dave, a friend of mine who now lives in Costa Rica. It has always been one of my favorites and for some reason I had not posted this before. In commissioning the painting, he gave me absolutely no parameters which is really my preferred way to work. This was done before I was painting backgrounds into my work. I still like the image against a white background. I did give the piece a shape or image in the background strictly as a design element and felt it helped the composition.It helped to anchor the cat on the page since I did not put a shadow under the cat even though I have a slight shadow under the chin.
