Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I really enjoy reading about archaelogy and the study of early man. It doesn't matter the country, anything that I can find, I'm interested. This includes cave peoples in Europe. The find in 1995 that is called the Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave in the Ardeche Valley in Southern France, named after one of the spelunkers that found the cave. It is dated to 32,000 years ago, 15,000 years older than
the famous Lascaux Cave, also in France. Anyway, my take on a cave bear, which were prominent at the time in Europe. I saw a drawing of a bear with extra long claws which influenced me. Of course, I took liberties with the color, background, etc to make it a piece of art.
